How We Rank Pest Control Companies
PA Score (Pest Agent Score)
What Goes Into The PA Score?
6 criteria, out of 100 points:
- 25 points
Customer satisfaction
Ratings and reviews from Google and other platforms where available, adjusted for volume, so a 5.0 on 12 reviews does not beat a 4.8 on 400.
- 20 points
Licensing and insurance
Licence and insurance information published by the business, checked against the provincial licence record where one is public.
- 15 points
Responsiveness
How quickly the business replies to customers and whether it offers emergency or same-day service.
- 15 points
Service range
The pests treated, for homes and businesses.
- 15 points
Transparency
Published prices, free or written estimates, warranties and follow-up visits.
- 10 points
Experience and track record
Years in business and how the business handles complaints.
How To Read A PA Score
- 70 to 100
- 50 to 69
Why Are Some Businesses Not Ranked?
We scored every business serving Toronto the same way, using our own PA Score (Pest Agent Score), computed from data our team collected on October 3, 2026.
We compared 75 companies. 10 made the list.
- Do not serve Toronto7
- Fewer than 10 Google reviews11
- No recent customer activity in the last 24 months2
- An integrity check is still open14
- PA Score of 50 or more but outside the top 1031
Are Paid Listings Part Of The Ranking?
No. Scores are computed without knowing who pays, and a paid placement never changes a score or a rank. Paid placements appear only as Verified partner cards, tagged Sponsored and kept outside the numbered list.
How Often Is This Ranking Updated?
We collect and score each city again at least every 6 months.
Can A Business Ask To Be Corrected Or Removed?
Facts, yes. If a phone number, address, opening hours or website is wrong, tell us through our contact page and we correct it at the next update, the same way for every business, paying or not. We do not remove a business from a ranking on request, so the ranking stays complete and fair. Two exceptions: a business that has closed is removed, and a sole proprietor's personal information, such as a home address, is removed or replaced on request.
