Permethrin

Permethrin, a widespread term in the pest control industry, is a synthetic molecule, known as a pyrethroid, utilized extensively as an insecticide. It works repelling, sterilizing, or murdering pests, evolving from a plant-derived compound called pyrethrum. Permethrin can be applied on fabrics, including clothes or mosquito nets, making them insect-resistant. We often find it in homeowner-use products, from indoor point-of-contact sprays like Raid to outdoor garden and lawn care products. Its action is quick and deadly against pests, but it's moderately safe if humans or pets come into contact.
